Tyyny Cushions: 100% Handmade
Tyyny's are handmade; first strips of cloth are cut from selected high quality materials. Then these strips are sown together in a square. The individual squares are then sown together, sometimes 4, sometimes 9 or even 16, depending on the model. Producing a small Tyyny cushion takes at least 4 hours.
Because of this, no two Tyyny's are the same. Every design is unique. However, some Tyyny cushions are made from the same fabrics. These cushions are sold as Tyyny-sets of two or more cushions.
Every Tyyny cushion or bag has a brand label and a unique identification number sewn in. Make sure you have purchased a real Tyyny by checking its labels.
The sewn-in unique identification number can be found on the inside of the hotel-closure at the back of the Tyyny cushion or on the inside of a Tyyny bag.
This Unique Identification Number corresponds with the number on the paper label attached to the product. You can verify this number on our website.

Tyyny: Log cabin Cushions with something extra!
Tyyny’s are made in the so-called traditional log-cabin-technique. However our designers always try to use refinements: they play with the classic patterns. The squares are sewn together in a diagonally way and give a Tyyny a completely different look.
Or the “heart” wil not be accentuated any longer, but gets the same color as the half of the squares. The complete single-colored Tyyny’s where all parts of the log-cabin are made in the same color. Take a look at our range ivorycream; they have a very elegant impact. “Very stylish” as it is often called.
It is also very nice to play with the color combinations; daring combinations, think of red with orange; turquoise with purple; while selecting the fabrics often ideas for surprising creations come up.
