Tyyny Cushions: 100% Handmade

Tyyny's are handmade; first strips of cloth are cut from selected high quality materials. Then these strips are sown together in a square. The individual squares are then sown together, sometimes 4, sometimes 9 or even 16, depending on the model. Producing a small Tyyny cushion takes at least 4 hours.

Because of this, no two Tyyny's are the same. Every design is unique. However, some Tyyny cushions are made from the same fabrics. These cushions are sold as Tyyny-sets of two or more cushions.

Every Tyyny cushion or bag has a brand label and a unique identification number sewn in. Make sure you have purchased a real Tyyny by checking its labels.

The sewn-in unique identification number can be found on the inside of the hotel-closure at the back of the Tyyny cushion or on the inside of a Tyyny bag.
